Born in 1988 in Istanbul, Meltem graduated with a degree in Art Direction from the Art Design department of Yıldız Technical University, and obtained a master’s in Business Administration from Istanbul Technical University. She also studied photography at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Clermont Métropole in France. She has been working as a member of the art department on professional sets in the film industry since 2007. She has also worked in the theater industry as a costume designer. As of 2011, she has also worked as an art director on advertisements, short and feature films, music videos and documentaries.
As someone who grew up in various cultures, Meltem uses this privilege of her upbringing to attain success in a number of fields. She aims to bring a unique perspective to storytelling in every project she works on. Her working style is noted for its discipline, cohesiveness and high energy.
