Emre Okur was born in Balıkesir in 1993. After completing elementary school in Kütahya and middle and high school in Balıkesir, he began studying Radio, Television and Cinema at Balıkesir University in 2012. During his university studies he was an active participant in the theater community. He graduated in 2017 with the thesis project “Features of Avant-Garde Style in Godard’s Filmography”. Since 2019, he has continued to work in a professional capacity at Tolan Films.
